The Neighborhhod Plan Committee is charged with developing and implementing the Fairview Neighborhood Plan. The Fairview Community Council is the first group to be authorized under Municipal Ordinance to author a neighborhood plan.

Tuesday March 14, 2006 the Anchorage Assembly passed AR 2006-42(s), a Resolution authorizing the Fairview Community Council to procede with writing the Fairview Neighborhood Plan. The Resolution was introduced by the Chair at the request of the Mayor, and the Planning Department. The Resolution passed on an 8-0 vote.

The Neighborhood Plan Committee is finalizing a draft plan for submission to the Planning Department and ultimately adoption by the Anchorage Assembly. For background on the development of the plan, visit the Neighborhood Plan page.
