Federation of Community Councils, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose Board is made up of the representatives of each of Anchorage’s Community Councils. The Federation’s mission is to assist Community Councils to involve citizens in the governmental process at the neighborhood level.

Each Community Council is responsible for appointing a delegate who acts as a representative to the Federation Board. Delegates must attend at least once every three meetings or the Council will be considered unseated.

Monthly meetings: Federation meets at 6 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month from August through May in the first floor conference room at 1057 W. Fireweed Lane. We typically have a picnic meeting in July in Valley of the Moon Park.
