Our council does not discriminate, or allow discrimination, on the basis of race, creed, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression, age, height, weight, physical or mental ability, veteran status, military obligations, and marital status.
The Municipality of Anchorage has passed AO 2014-3 requiring Community Councils to update their bylaws to include certain minimum standards and procedures. Spenard's bylaws were approved by the Council at the June 4, 2014 meeting.
