Marking his last few weeks in office, Assembly Chair Christopher Constant will report on the work of the Anchorage Assembly – highlighting the impact of their efforts to spur new housing development, support small businesses, and increase public safety in our neighborhoods and on our roads, parks, and trails – while looking back on his nine years of service on the Anchorage Assembly and being part of the long, amazing local story shaped by the many leaders, friends, and neighbors in the Anchorage community.

As part of the FCC’s commitment to civic engagement and neighborhood empowerment, the Local Lens series was created to make space for deeper conversations on the topics impacting our community. Executive Director, Arianna Bellizzi, facilitates a Q&A session after the presentation where neighbors are able to get their questions answered.

A space for learning and community-building, the Local Lens series is designed to break down the barriers between local government and residents. The meetings are held on Zoom and open to everyone, with recordings posted soon after the meeting.
