Here for your review are the Title II-A and Title IV-A grant proposals being considered for FY 2027. For your information, these grants are not allowed to be used for supporting/”supplanting” the general budget.
Please consider helping the Anchorage School District by looking over these grants and providing input on the linked form. You’re feedback is valuable to us and will be used to refine the existing grants and inform the creation of future proposals.
Title II-A (Supporting Effective Instruction) is
a federal grant program under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) designed to increase student achievement by improving teacher and school leader quality.
Title IV, Part A, is a federal grant program under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) of 2015 designed to improve student academic achievement by providing formula grants to schools. It focuses on three key areas: providing a well-rounded education, improving safe and healthy school environments, and increasing the effective use of technology.
