Community Councils
Anchorage is made up of 37 unique Community Councils, stretching from all the way north at Eklutna Valley to as far south as Portage Valley. These councils are your direct line to local government. Community Councils are where neighbors come together to chat, share ideas, and help make our neighborhoods even better. Join monthly meetings to hear updates from city officials, learn about upcoming local projects, and work with your neighbors to tackle local challenges. All meetings are open to the public.
