This park was acquired in 1980. It was a former water well site for the water department. In 1985 trees and bollards were placed along Stephenson Street, fine grading was done, topsoil added and vehicle gate was constructed.

A Park Foundation project was completed in the summer of 2014 with a play structure, group swing, toddler area and a pathway.
