The Federation of Community Councils, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support and foster neighborhood engagement within the Municipality of Anchorage.
The FCC holds monthly meetings of representatives from each community council called the Coalition of Delegates. These meetings include council updates, municipal updates, informational presentations, and collaborative sessions.
The Coalition meetings are open to the public and held on the third Wednesday of every month, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Meetings are offered both in-person in the first floor conference room at 1057 West Fireweed Lane & via Zoom.

Coalition of Delegates
Federation of Community Councils, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose Board is elected by the 35 community councils within the Municipality.
Each Community Council is responsible for appointing a delegate who acts as a representative to the Coalition of Delegates. The Coalition meetings are an opportunity for community councils to connect and learn together. They also elect a Board of Directors who manage the non-profit.

FCC Core Values
The Federation of Community Councils has served as a nonprofit and support organization since 1976. As a storied and experienced organization, it was important to reaffirm the values that drive the work. In 2025, the Delegates approved a new purpose and four values to see the Federation into the next 50 years.
