Get the word out about your community council!

The Federation of Community Councils is pleased to relaunch our microgrant program—now called Civic Connections. These small grants support Community Councils’ outreach, engagement, and convening efforts by reimbursing eligible outreach expenses.

How It Works

Community Councils that want to engage in outreach may each apply for one microgrant of up to $50.

Potential projects include:

  • Event location rentals
  • Picnic supplies
  • Fliers and printed materials
  • Signage or advertising
  • Other outreach activities (pre-approval required)

 

Once the application is approved, Community Councils may submit one or multiple receipts for reimbursement.

Applications

Application period: 06/01/2026–08/31/2026 (or until funds are exhausted).

 

Apply before your event by completing the online application form and providing contact and event details.

 

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis; you will receive a response within 5 business days.

Once approved, proceed with your outreach; submit receipts for reimbursement afterward.
