Solarize Anchorage Updates
December 28th, 2018: The Alaska Center has choosen our neighborhood to particpate in the Solarize Anchorage project. This means that homeowners around the neighborhood that want to have solar power installed on their homes in 2019, to catch the last year of the 30% federal income tax rebate, will decide on one contractor that will create a bid for installation. The price will be on the cost per watt so that it is easy to determine if it will work for you. If you are interested, email, firstname.lastname@example.org. You can address questions there as well.
There is no obligation to pay until the projects are lined out for installation in April of 2019. So if you are at all interested please let the organizers know. To learn more you can check out the RFP going out to potential contractors or go to the main webpage.

What is a Neighborhood Plan? Neighborhood plans influence how a neighborhood is developed. They work with the broader municipal land use plans and zoning ordinances, drilling down to provide land use designations and guidance for growth tailored to the characteristics of the specific neighborhood.
