Williwaw Park Playground

The playground is operating, though landscaping and a trail access to the playground from the street remains to be built.

The playground is the result of KaBOOM foundation expertise, Home Depot money, Rasmuson Foundation Challenge grant money, and thousands of hours from volunteers, -- Russian Jack community, the Northeast Park District, and Home Depot.  (Some of the Home Depot volunteers came from Kenai and Wasilla - such is their commitment to community development.)

There is money pending from the State of Alaska that will be used to bring MOA water into the park for drinking and watering.

A partner in this venture is Home Depot, and we thank them for their support.

Elsewhere, Home Depot has donated material and labor to build six picnic tables and two park bench-planters for the San Antonio Park.
